LinkedIn launched two new features

LinkedIn has Launched Two Huge Features Similar to Facebook

Tagging people in photo option is available in almost all the social media platforms. Which is a fun way to connect people and recollect it as a memory when it gets aged. And now this popular feature is implemented by the worlds largest business social network “LinkedIn”.

LinkedIn Tagging Feature

This photo tagging option in LinkedIn works almost as similar to the one on Facebook. You don’t have to be connected to tag someone in your post and you can tag up to 30 people per post. The option started rolling out last month, but all users may not have the option yet. The person who’s tagged or the person posting the photo can remove the tag.

LinkedIn has also introduced another feature called “Reactions”. This “Reactions” will give users a new way to engage with the posts with four new reactions alongside the Like Button. This new LinkedIn “Reactions” are so much similar to Facebook’s reactions but in a professional makeover.

The company says their users are regularly asking for more expressive ways to respond to different posts.

The following new reactions are now available to everyone:

In a Statement LinkedIn has explained about how these reactions work:

You can use Celebrate to praise an accomplishment or milestone like landing a new job or speaking at an event, or Love to express deep resonance and support, as a conversation about work-life balance or the impact of mentorship. Insightful can help you recognize a great point or interesting idea, while Curious lets you show your desire to learn more or react to a thought-provoking topic. As a poster, these new reactions can help you better understand the impact your posts are having.

Looks like LinkedIn has stepped up their game to the next level with these cool features. Let’s see how this plays out in the future.
